mmmm, "real" beef.....

I saw the sign for "Real" Beef Jerky and thought of you. I was on I35 from Austin to Dallas and couldn't catch a picture, but they've got a website.

    Isn't putting the word "real" in quotation marks positively suggesting the exact opposite? Makes you wonder why they wouldn't just leave that word off. I would never question the "realness" of it had they just said "beek jerky." Now they have called it into question.

    I'm so used to seeing it that I didn't realize how weird that is. That's my favorite jerky.

    And yes, it is made of beef.
