"the law"

In Southern Mississippi, "The Law" is up to interpretation.

Found at a BBQ place called "The Shed" and yes... those quotes were on the sign for the joint as well.

  1. THE SHED!!!! The Shed is the greatest bbq place EVER. I'm so excited to see pictures from there... I spent 5 weeks in Biloxi (long story) and went to the shed whenever possible. Oh, nostalgia.

Their potato salad is unmatched. I promise.

  3. I'm with Sharon. It made me giggle, though...they can't spare any quotation marks/apostrophes for "it's"; they're too busy using them in the wrong places. Too funy.

  4. Maybe "ITS" is the sheriff in town! In other words, "ITS THE LAW," just lets you know who's in charge! (Or, maybe it's "whose" in charge, since Whose is the deputy.)

  5. John has it right. It is the best BBQ ever. Ever. And the potato salad is to die for.

I once interviewed the owner. He built a tiny little shed-like structure to begin with, and he's exchanged BBQ for the labor and supplies for all the expansions since then.

(I can't see that picture, or I'd comment on that, too.)
