Bethany from Atlanta (a different Bethany from me) spotted this fantastic scene off of I-20 in Missisippi. I really think the image speaks for itself on this one.
I double-checked with the submitter and this is actually the way she found this scene - it was not posed. That's so great.

this cracked me up so much
this is awesome!
I can say, without hyperbole, this is the greatest photo ever taken.
yeah it really helps to get the point across that he appears to be asleep on the job. or is he "asleep"?
OMG!!! I was at the SAME place about a year ago and saw the EXACT SAME GUY asleep in the booth! We also took a photo (Though it is not as good!) and show it to all of our friends and laugh! That is SO funny!!
In light of SKHI PACE's comment, has it occurred to anyone that this guy might actually be dead?!
I think instead of all laughing at him, one of us should maybe call an ambulance...
Yes, because calling an ambulance after someone's been dead for a year really helps ;)
like meg said, do dead men really need ambulances? i think that we may need to consider the possibility that he's really sleeping beauty's dad and will never wake up.
Those quotes mean that the whole getup is there just for "peace" of mind; i.e., it guards neither you, your "secure" "investments", or anything else"." It's a literal "Prop House'!'" previously known as John
If he has been there in that same position for a year, he must be a mannequin. Cheaper than hiring a human. Hence, the quotation marks are perfectly appropriate.
That's so awesome.
Oh. My. Goodness. Hilarious! Bet he doesn't let "anyone" "pass" through that "gate" without "ID"!
More like "social security" guard! Were those quotes unnecessary?
